hiii.. I am currently in US with H4 visa and I started pursuing MS in spring 2012 with in state fees. I would like to convert to F1 just before spring 2013( ie by November 2012). I am planning to finish my course in spring 2013 itself. I hope i will be eligible for CPT by spring 2013. But i am not sure of OPT. Since, i can file for OPT only by fall 2013, do i need to take any course in that semester for getting OPT. Is there any minimum credit requirements in the OPT filing semester? Plese help me..
