Hi

My wife and I are Indian citizens legally residing in the US. We are planning to go for 7-10 days vacation to Puerto Rico and USVI. Our plan is to
1) fly back and forth from the Mainland (NY) and
2) travel by sea (ferry, water taxi etc) between the islands.

We both have valid petitions (I-797) but dont have valid Visa stamping in our passports. Both have valid (non-expired) US Drivers License. Based on what I have read in other posts and such my understanding is
a) that since PR and USVI is domestic travel there wont be any immigration
b) Travel by sea might be an exception to the point (a) since we might be in international waters.

Can you please help with your input on whether it is safe for us to travel especially the travel between islands by sea.

Note :
Me : Valid H1 petition and an expired H1 stamp in the passport
My wife : Valid H4 petition and an expired L1 stamp in the passport. She was working on an L1 and recently did a Change of Status to H4

Thanks in advance
