Hi
I'm currently on L1A visa working for company ABC. I'm planning to apply for a change of status next year from L1A to H1B. I'm not sure if I can legally do this since my L1A visa end date is 4 September 2013. My I94 end date is 1 January 2015.
Could you please let me know if I can transfer my L1A through a different employer since my L1A visa end date is before October 1.
Please note I have a valid I94 till 1 January 2015. I'm planning to apply for H1 in next year 2013.
