Getting equity as reward apart from salary on H1B

Hi experts,
I am on H1B visa and working in a small private start up company (LLC). Can the company reward me private equity (not stock) as bonus / reward apart from my normal salary (which is as par prevailing wage)?

Here is my my 2cents. You can get any type of compensation above the $$ mentioned in your PERM. They can even write you the entire company on your name.
