Hello Friends!
My lawyer has received an RFE on my wife's I485 to prove bona fide marriage. Kindly share your experiences, opinions and feedback on the same with me. Appreciate your help.

Should not be difficult -- include copies of -- Marriage Certificate, Marriage Photos, Joint Tax Return, Joint Bank Account. These should work

Thanks Krish! Is it also mandatory to have spouse's name added to her passport? They are also asking for passport data pages.

I totally agree with Krish , in addition if you want you can submit affidavit from friends and family who attended the marriage . you dont need to add her name to your passport if that you are asking for.

I do not think it is mandatory. How long have you been married ? Do you have children ?

I got married in Feb. 2011. Haven't planned a child yet.
My passport was renewed in SFO during Dec 2010 and my wife got her new passport issued in dec 2010 as well. So none of the passport has spouse name on it.

I spoke to VFS global to find out adding name of spouse to the passport in SFO, and I was told that it can be done but a new passport will be issued with a new passport number.

I DON'T THINK GETTING A NEW PASSPORT WITH ANOTHER PASSPORT NUMBER IS A GOOD IDEA when me and my wife have already applied for 485. Right?

Please share if anyone has sample affidavit to prove legal marriage. I am thinking of getting affidavits done from relatives who attended marriage. Appreciate your help.

These are all the documents required to show a bonafide marriage, what Krishmunn has mentioned.
In the RFE, USCIS would have clearly mentioned what documents they are looking for. Can you share what they are asking?
