H1 B denied while on OPT- what are my options

Hello,

A relative of mine did Masters in Pharmacy in US and is doing a job on OPT through IT Consulting in a Health care project.

She filed her H1B April 2012 and after an RFE and response , got h1B denied news yesterday. Her OPT ends October end, Oct 2012

What are her options to stay in US ?

If she can find a new opportunity by Oct then she can reapply for another H1.

I am not sure if she can apply for visitor visa after being on OPT but she can look into that which will give her time to look for new job.
