Any limit on # of I-140s?

All,
I got my labor approved from backlog center few weeks back and asking my employer to file my I140. He says that he cannot file mine before November because there are lot of approvals in last few weeks. He can file only one for every two weeks. So, as per the order of approval received, he cannot file my labor until November.

Is there a restriction from INS that there should not be too many I-140s from same employer? Or employers follow this as a practice to avoid too many pending cases? Or some thing fishy:confused:

I don't think so. But I would dbouble check with other law firm.

There is no restriction. Once you have an original copy of your labor, you can file the I140 the same day. This is B.S. what your attorney is telling you....
