I love the immigration process .. it's amazing the amount of people that I have connected with, colleagues that I would know on a 'hi' 'hello' basis are now good chums .. perfect strangers I meet .. open up immediately once they know that they are like me .. on an EB3 status :).

I feel just like all the Indians did, pre 1947 plotting for their freedom and using non violent means to get there.
The immigration process has made me an activist from a passivist, an extrovert from an introvert, a person more and more concerned with global issues .. or for that matter any issues: environment, war, capitalism .. I now have a view on everything.

The amount of people I know who are in similar immigration situations is mindblowing. The amount of information exchange .. could easily translate into a best seller.

The amount of jobs that this has created is unbelievable. More and more people in HR to take care of immigration issues, more lawyers and paralegals. We're actually helping the economy.

When I get bored at work I go to ImmigrationVoice and other immigration portals .. to see if anything's new .. or if folks need info on something.

What will I do once this process gets cleaned up ?.. how will I be able to use up all that free time spend debating on immigration, how immigration must be reformed, convincing HR .. that they should file for me in PERM .. and then re-convincing them that .. no file again in EB2 and then go for the rest.
My whole life will get so boring and monotonous once I get the green card :).
