I am applying Indian Passport for my son (5 years old) in Houston Consulate. Has anyone did this before for a minor child. If yes then please let me know what documents I need to send apart from the list below..

My son's AOS in pending and he also has EAD..

What I understand from Houston consulate website are below..

1) Original existing passport and photocopy of first three and last two pages containing personal particulars

2) $40 Cashier's check + $20 for return mail Fees for passport + mailing charges be sent together through a single money order or cashier's check in favor of the "Consulate General of India".

2) Four recently taken and identical colour photographs with light background of size 3.5x3.5 cm. Photographs should show the front view of full face.

3) Fill application Online, Print the form.

4) Copy of EAD.

Dude...Are you serious? You APPLIED for and the GOT and EAD..for a little BOY!!..wow!!
Are you sure, you don't mean an AP (Travel Doc.)
Anyways, getting a passport is simple. Instructions are all on the website of CGI. I donlt know about Houston, but the Chicago Consulate has superb service.
