Anyone received an approval email but not a CPO welcome message

Folks;

I received an approval notification through the CRIS system of USCIS. Almost everyone who I saw got approved got a CPO and welcome message email. Don't know what to make out of it...my lawyer is also mum on the issue.

Here is the content:

Application Type: I485, APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS

Current Status: Approval notice sent.

On September 3, 2009, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I485 APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS. Please follow any instructions on the notice. If you move before you receive the notice, call customer service.

Also I as the primary applicant only received the mail...my wife's status is still unchanged...

I received CPO email's for me and my son. My wife's online status is unchanged (no emails yet...). We have not received the Welcome email yet....

We received "Welcome email" no CPO email

Thanks for the responses...My email as you see in the first message is neither "Welcome" nor a CPO.

So am I unique....unwelcomed approval.....strange...even in this there is no standard format or routine....

Yes some have not received CPO...they say they will get a deportation notice soon as a result of not receiving CPO but directly receiving "Approval Notice Sent".

As I understand, we would receive emails in this order: approval email, cpo email and then a welcome email

But does not welcome me or order CP.....well .....the ordeal is not over yet......

What did you do to piss them off :D.

Oh I think I know what the problem is.... the big "R" word .................. RETROGRESS !!!

If you are EB2I then you have to wait for the card..dates are not current yet :D

all, we received our approval notice email on sep 1 for me and my wife.no cpo or welcoming email yet.

So GC journey,
You seem to be the only one other than me not to get a CPO or welcome email....could be that we are unwanted (unwelcome) greens....anyway I don't think you get a separate email for CPO after an approval mail...the first mail is usually a CPO/welcome mail ....Need to see what shows up in the Postal Mail when it arrives...

I saw in one of the threads : someone's CPO welcome status changed to "Approval notice sent" after couple of days....
