Had called up TSC today thru the POJ:
Morning:
Me: I am approved but no cards yet.
CSR: Well you are approved what do you want
Me:Physical cards'
CSR: You have only been approved for 2 weeks wait 30 more days
Me: Received notice that I may need Biometrics
CSR: Let me see...yes your Biom has expired..it needs to be current.
Me: Well I have colleagues at work with Biom done even before me aka Nov 2007 and got physical cards
CSR: I can't tell about your colleagues
Me: So what should I do?
CSR: I can order Biom if that is what you want?
Me (surprised): Yeah sure....
Before I could ask for my wife the phone got disc...
Afternoon TSC:
Me: I am approved but my wife is pending
CSR: Your no blah blah
Me: I talked to a CSR in the morn and he was arranging a FP notice but the call got disc.
CSR: I don't see any request
Me (surprised): Can you tell me if my biom is current...
CSR: Your FP is fine but your pictures are not..I'll order that
Me: thanks when will I get it
CSR: within 30 days
Me not sure if it is going to be hand delivered mail I guess if they start walking from Texas they may reach Boston before 30 days...
Me: My wife;s case is pending
CSR: What's the receipt no?
Me: blah blah
CSR:Is she there
Me: right here
Wife: Good afternoon...blah blah
CSR: Your case is pending
Wife:Why? Is it because of Biom?
CSR: Let me see. Your pics are fine but you need Biom.
Wife:What does that mean what is the difference
CSR: FP needed.
Wife: How come my husband is approved without his Biom current and I am not
CSR: could be many issues. Well let's see ...Oh Visa numbers are used up. Wait till Oct 1st.
Wife: Is my case preadjudicated
CSR:No
Wife Is my case with an officer
CSR: Yes
Wife: So you'll schedule a FP notice for me
CSR: Yes for both ur husband and you.
Wife: Well...
CSR: Ok fine ....disc....
BTW: My attorney thru AILA had found out after talking to TSC that her Biom could be a issue..and went ahead and requested them to issue a FP/Biome notice.
Strangely this CSR has no track of that records....are they totally in disconnect..
However much I try to find logic I fail to understand USCIS....it is just that after more than 10 years I am yearning for closure..but it seems a long way ahead...
Good luck to others.....but it seems there is no logic to opening Sr/Infopass/etc etc ....otherwise many of us 'd have been approved...it is a coincidence not a factor....
I am not sure if Biom can be ordered multiple times and whether it will screw up her case...but I haven't seen anything on the mail yet....no responses to the SR she opened either....
