If you are Eb2 Feb 05 like ronhira and sound as sarcastic then its a stretch to call that funny. However, Ronhira wants to avoid discussing the topic is also understood. I am assuming there must be a good reason for that, specially since ronhira is a donor and a smart Indian. There is no reason for him to have reacted in the manner unless there is a good reason.
So in conclusion let's leave this topic to rest and wait till Jan 2010. By then Ronhira will be gone and we can resume. :D

peace can be achieved only if we stop responding to the foolish statements made by the likes of ronhira and simple1. ronhira does not like to help fellow immigrants, but anytime someone offers any advice, he is the first to issue a troll alert, and then comes along simple1 to second him. anyways, i realized it was my folly to spare with him, and left him to his deeds. As to why he keeps getting greens even when he speaks out as such, it is coz they dont have any value. ignore the ratings in the profile, but pay attention to the content of the posts. that way, you will get the answers you want.

I started this thread to ask a simple question. What is Advisors's opinion on visa capture? I would take an expert's opinion than take an opinion of somebody who posts meaningless replies to threads on the IV forum.

The answer to this question will give many of us an idea how to plan for next 2-3 years. Is there any hope of recapture? If yes, what is the approximate time frame? I do not want to hold up my career if visa recapture looks unlikely.

visa recapture is a dream. the last time something of this sort happened, the only ones to get advantage were the nurses (H2-A).
visa recapture will not happen in the near future as the hispanic caucus will not allow any piecemeal immigration bills. any bill that will reduce the frustration of the legal immigrants, will only remove the pressure from the business community on CIR. The only way the undocumented immigrants can become legal is the passage of CIR, to which again there are many opposing forces, such as mid-term elections, conservative politicians, religious groups, economy, anti-immigrants, etc. The legal immigrants are caught between these two unyielding groups. If possible, try to get an EB2 labor and do a porting of your PD to get ahead. That is the only way EB3 waiters can get their GC in today's environment.

IV Message is very clear. Per their study, there won't be piecemeal on immigration. It is going to be included in CIR.

Now don't start blaming illegals, family visa issues etc. GOP is using legal backlog issue to stop amnesty. Dems are using legal backlog to give amnesty.

End of the day, we are still in queue waiting.

Ronhira - I can verify. I'm on H1 and just in the process of initiating my PERM. No problem at all.

If ur a prospective iimigrant (ur not an immigrant yet if u don't have a GC) - then why do you behave so badly with IV members. Help them out. I posted a simple question as to what sponsorship issues are MBA students facing and u called me an anti-immigrant. Then this guy posted on visa recapture - u called him names.

What's ur problem man? If u r on H1 -great - learn to behave. If u can't help, dont' digress or twist the topic. This wastes everyone's time and energy.

just coz you donate money does not make you VERIFIED. When you are using the name of an ANTI-IMMIGRANT, and your posts are never constructive apart from attacking us, what benefit do you serve?
if you want to take part in a healthy discussion, give constructive advise, not the other way around to stop people from giving answers to questions they have. this is what a public forum is for. not for using abusive language. i am ready to be verified. they have my contact info on file and they can contact me anytime they want. i was there when this was group was set up and in the talks on rajeev khanna's forums. you werent there then, so stop blabbing.

My thought is that we do not require Visa recapture. All USCIS need to do is to wait. -- look at the statistics - if every thing goes as per books (does it??) the spill over from 2011,2012 or may be 2013 Quota will make India EB3 current. (my calculations are for 2012) - do the math guys....around 25K spill over each year for this and next -- but 2012 its around 50K directly to india....

i know this is all speculation but i do not foresee any changes this year or next keeping in view the way new applications for H1 and labor certifications and also the ICE actions against incorrect practices of employers.

I know its just the time of 3 years (wow...i will be old by another 3years and then my eligibility for citizenship pushes by that time)...lol

Does the first post make any sense here. Any sensible person, browsing and is on this site can be assumed to have the knowledge on whats going on related to visa capture and other stuff.. if not read the news and you will find it.
so don't you think the question is really dumb and someone is trying to provoke us for something.

So be smart before pointing finger and taking sides, unless and only and only if you are not an "Anti", otherwise we know whose side will you be every time.

Anti's have been using us as the puppet , they provoke us and watch the show, also use us against us. Damn!! grow up and get wise to understand the strategy here. Things are not as simple as you think. Anti's are also not simple guys like us, but are well paid group of pros running the agency with this agenda and using different strategies.

They are no ones friend and also don't even care about America, they just care about the job what they are paid for. I am noticing a some new entrants who have all greens with just 6 posts and most have joined recently some in march & others in October. I am not saying they are anti-immigrants or anything but looks like IVs security is either compromised or some people(could be just 1 person) have found ways to bypass the system.
Will it be possible to find the person(s) by IP tracking and block them?
