Folks,
It would be helpful if you can mention the type of filing you had undertaken, I have heard from couple of friends that e-filing takes more time than paper filing, so just trying to gauge.

Mine is pending since Oct 23 in TX. These guys are taking too long. Website says 3 months processing time. Question is will they issue AP start date from date of issue or date of application? Date of issue will be good because that covers one year from that date.

For renewals, it is always from the date of last expiry, if you had a previous AP. Otherwise, date of issue for a new AP.

Are you sure? That means if you have your AP application pending for 6 months, then it's really only valid for 6 more months? It's really useless..
