I am sure lot of you may not like personal posts....but I thought if this could help atleast some then I would say I have helped my bros/sis. in IV. Here it is....

I took an Infopass appt. for an MTR on mine and my wife's I485's that were denied. Reason missing G325A (biographic information forms). It was more than 2 months and there were 2 soft LUD's on our applications due to address changes.

I went to Irving, TX USCIS field office more than 10 mintues late on Friday 03/06/2009. There were not many people and our wait was approx. 15 min. and I was watching one Imm. officer, talking to myself and hoping that I should not be at her (lot's of anxiety within) window, coz she was quite stubborn (from what I could see her) when talking to other visitors. Alas! my number came (token A62) and it was same counter. I wished myself good luck and went to the counter.

She asked me the reason for my visit and I laid down my details:

Denial Notice sent on 12/15/2008.
MTR opened on 12/23/2008.
Soft LUD's on 01/07/2009 and 01/30/2009 respectively.

She looked into her system (while I saw her name as Paula Davis) and the first thing she said "Your motion was approved on 02/11/2009"

Uffff!!! A big sigh of relief! I asked about my wife's application then and she mentioned her application has been opened and being reviewed and will be approved soon. She then mentioned that the approval notice has not been issued and asked me to wait for 2 more weeks and then initiate a letter to the USCIS.

My last question to her was when can I anticipate my I485 to be current or to be adjudicated. She looked some files and mentioned it may approx. take 2 more years but also said things might speed up.

But during the whole conversation what I could see was she was quite helpful and courteous towards me and responding to all my questions.

The whole 30 mins. was very productive and I was a happy person while exiting.
