Default Dependent Green Card

I received my Green Card yesterday. when I checked/called USCIS, they said my wife case still not processed. Is this normal? typically how long does it take for spouse's green card to be approved?

Thanks

Your wife has her own file, sometimes the dependents files get separated (even though they are supposed to be kept together and processed together), sometimes they may be delayed because of some issue, such as fingerprints, name check or some other factor that is holding the case up. I would follow up with the service center.

Thanks for for response.

I did call up the USCIS and they said the case has not been approved and will get back to me in 30-60 days. Should I being doing anything else? Is service center same as USCIS number?

Default My wife GC not approved

Hi

My 485 was approved last year in April & I got the physical card in Aug-2008, As of today my wife's GC is not approved. We have written to Senator's office .I have appointment with the service center next week.

We have no idea whats the hold up for her approval. Her case is current for visa & as per processing times.

Thanks
