1. usually very quick with in 3 or 4 days after you see the message. Call your Attorney, they should recieve the notice.
2. Usually 45 days, may be differ case by case. 3. You have to wait until you get it, I don't think you can find out from the REP. Quote:

------------------------------- 1) Got USCIS email about RFE on 04/23 2) Log in to USCIS on 04/23 and found RFE sent to me/lawyer on 04/22 3) Called USCIS on 04/27, USCIS guy told me to conatct back if we (Lawyer and/or myself) do not get mail within 15 days ( 04/22 + 15 days). USCIS guy told me taht he does not have any rights to access my file for RFE content 4) Till 05/4 lawyer and me - did not get any email 5) O5/05 - Layer sent me email - scanned RFE - About AC21 usage - Proof of "simialr or same" employment. 6) Copy and Paste Title and Job description from labor certification - Part A and then I made the format of the employment letter. Also mentioned position requirement (Bachelors Dgree + minimum 2 years of working experience) as USICS specifically asked and then run it by lawyer. Lawyer "passed" the format. Went to HR. HR printed and signed the letter. Mailed the letter to lawyer. Lawyer got it on 05/06. Lawyer prepared "professional explanation" letter regarding AC21 usage, mentioned that AC21 USCIS notification was given back in the period when i changed the job (well after 6 months of 485 filing). Layer then Fedexed this "professional explanation" with my "current employment letter". USCIS got it on 05/07. I got the signature proof today and now I have gone agian "wait mode".

Here is my experience.
I received the RFE email for my wife's case on May 1st 2009 evening 5pm. My wife called them Monday May 4th 2009 asking the details, so that I can prepare documents required. They told my wife that they can't provide details over the phone. So we waited for the document, we don't have an attorney representing our case. We received the RFE on Thursday May 7th(RFE details: http://immigrationvoice.org/forum/sh...d.php?p=339894). I collected all the required documents over the last couple of days and am ready to mail it on Monday May 11th 2009. The response should reach them before June 3rd 2009 (30 days from May 4th, when the RFE letter was issued.). HTH googlegc Quote:

One more development: USCIS received my letter o 05/07 and I saw the online effect yesterday on USCIS web site "Response to the RFE received. Your case is now resumed..."

Bharat Premi,
Do you know reason which triggered RFE on your 485? Had you sent AC21 document after joining new employer? Thanks, KK Texas.
