Default Should we send W2 and payslip with i-485

I dont see W2 and payslips mentioned in i-485 instructions. DO we need to send them when filing i-485? Please suggest.

I asked my company's attorney about this when they filed my and wife's I-485 in November and they said they are not required. When I insisted that I have heard that payslips are required they said they file I-485's all the time and never send those. They are a big law firm and I just gave up. Worst case I might get an RFE and will submit them then.

No you dont need them. Provide only what they ask you for. If anything else is needed they will issue RFE and its should not be an issue to provide payslip at that time so relax and do what the attorney says. However, make sure you review all the forms for accuracy before signing
