My HR is planning to prepare for the PERM and agreed to do an EB2 application as a Lead Java Developer.
Should the job description and the experience letter match word by word? The job description I have mentions the specific project activities that are not mentioned on the experience letter by the word, but are in the letter in some sense. Does that work?
For Example: Along with the other specific technologies the description in the ad has the following text:
Quote:
Coordinate production support & projects, adhering to software development lifecycle & service mgt processes; lead activities with application planning, release mgt & solution design; oversee translation of business & system requirements into technical requirements & design documents; prepare & review estimates; work in project team environments; provide technical guidance & leadership; escalate complex changes; perform quality assurance; to deliver custom-developed & package-based software; participate in planning & evaluation meetings & presentations, Masters degree in Computer Engineering or Computer Science and 1 year experience
And my experience letter, along with the other technologies, says this:
Quote:
Performed full project life cycle activities, worked on trouble shooting system performance issues, performance & load testing, create estimates, review use case and requirements, assign tasks and lead a team to on time delivery of projects
Quote:
And I do have Masters Degree in Computer Engineering and more than 2 years of experience.

Now in reality it can be argued that all the items mentioned in the job description are covered by the experience letter, however would DOL and later USCIS accept that?
