eb2 requirements for a traveler medical worker?

Hello.

I'm currently working as a contract traveler medical worker. I was assign in Colorado in my first assignment, then after working for 9 mos there , I was transferred to another state. My employer, told me while I was still in Colorado that they'll be filing for my Eb2, but theyre still waiting for the prevailing wage from the state of Colorado. What happened, my contract finished in Colorado then I was transferred in Florida. My employer told me, that since I had transferred to another state, they need to have the prevailing wage of the new state where I'll be working. My eb2 application will be on hold until they received the prev wage from FLorida. I'm disappointed because I have friends who are working as a traveler medical worker also but their eb2 application has been process and approved in a short span of time, not affected nor been in hold inspite of them being relocated to one state to another. I want to know, if my employer is really telling the truth? that eb2 application do required prevailing wage in different state that I'll be working or they are just delaying my eb2 application? and also, is their website that I can check and see rules about these kind of matter?
