Current salary less than salary stated in H1B petition LCA?

We just had performance review at work (nonprofit organization) and my salary is based on that now however my h1b is approved recently and on LCA it said ##K amount, In reality, I am earning a lot less eventhough i m in H1b now, how can i talk to my employer about this?

Isn't it illegal since my employer filed LCA specifying the ##K that they are going to pay?
I am planning to go to visa stamping, will it cause trouble?

It is illegal . You should start looking for another job and once you get it, file a complaint with DOL against current employer . Don't go for H1 stamping before your salary issue is resolved

Yes, its illegal. I had this issue once..I sent a mail to HR of my company, and they promptly corrected the issue. You can try mentioning that. As per the law, you are entitled for a fixed salary above the prevailing wage ( you can remove any bonus etc that some consultant companies like mine adds to the salary structure.)

I'd a quick comment/question on this :
1. can the employer come back and say that this is salary they're willing to offer in future ?
and you might get increments over a period of time, which will get your salary to that figure ?

2. How do you know the job posting is for you ? it doesn;t carry your name on it when its posted in the office area ?

Please correct me if I'm missing something here...
