Attaching an pending 485 to a approved I140

My employer filed I 140 under EB3 and got approved. This is filed on October 2006 in other country.

The Same employer filed an EB2 I140 and 485 in March 2012 and both are still pending.

Based on my priority date Eb3 1140 is current so can i request the USCIS to attach my pending 485 (Filed under Eb2) to the approved EB3 (140) which was filed on October 3,2006? Will it confuse them and will be delayed for ever?

- what country are you from?
- what the priority dates printed on old I-140 and new I-140

Born in Dubai. EB3 was filed with a priority Date of October 3, 2006 and approved in December 2006. Currently they are processing December 2006 case

EB2 I140 filed on March 2012 and is still pending. EB2 other countries is current but still in pending status. We send a service request but they told there will be some more delay to process. Filed by the same employer.

Since Eb2 I140 is pending my 485 is not yet approved. So my question is whether it is possible to attach my 485 to the approved EB3 petition?

I assume that you have already filed 485, have a receipt notice and is pending.
Have you used EAD and AP since you received 485 notice.

Yes I already filed 485 based on EB2 I140 on March 2012 and received EAD and AP on April 2012.
