Question Can I port an old Priority date to the New 140

My current situation is

I have an old I-140 (Approved) - Filed under EB3 - January 14,2004 Priority Date
I have a Perm Labor (Pending) - Filed under EB2 - June 5,2008 Priority Date

Can i port the approved 140 priority date to the Perm Labor when i am ready to file the 140. Please let me know if this is possible or does the difference between EB2 and EB3 will come in picture.

Thanks in advance.

Yes, your EB-2 employer can request that the new I-140 be accorded the 2004 priority date.

Default What if job profile has changed?

Can the priority date be ported from an approved I-140 to a new I-140 from new employer, when the job profile has changed from the first employer to the other. Like moving from engineering to business.
