You should be sending to Texas Service center as this has jurisdiction over NJ.
I had a little bit of similar case. I was also from CA and filed my 485 in Nebraska. Then my 485 was transfered to Texas. When I wanted to file my EAD I had the same confusion whether I should file in Texas as my I-485 is transfered and pending here or file in Nebraska as this center has jurisdiction over OH. Then I decided to file in Nebraska as per the instructions (should be file in service center that has jurisdiction over your state) and got approval in 2 weeks. Hope this helps. Thanks |
