You will get it for 3 yrs. A friend of mine has a similar situation like yours. He transferred his H1 in July 2007 evnthough it was valid till October 2007 and got the extension until July 2010.

You are right. The info I provided definitely needs to be validated by an attoreny. AFAIK, H1 and GC are 2 seperate things. The info I mentioned in my earlier post is purely related to H1 and nothing to do with GC stages (140 and 485). Thanks for bringing this though. |
