Default Can apply for H4 multiple times??
Hello,

I really need your help. Month ago my husband has applied for his second 3-year extension for his old job. At the same time I changed my status from F1 to H4 and have already received the receipt just a week ago. Recently, several weeks ago, my husband got a new job offer that he accepted and now he is applying for new H1B with his new job. My question is: What do I do in this case? Should I hold the same H4 that I received while my husband was on his old job?

OR Should I apply for a new H4 with his new receipt number? Im not sure one can apply for multiple H4..

Im in the US, so it simplifies the way that I do not have to get visa and travel for now. But Im worried about my status. Does it matter at all what receipt number my H4 is tied to? Im very confused. Please give me some light on it.

Also, his extension for the old job should have been until 2013. Can I stay on it and then closer to expiration date apply for another H4, but with his new job? I just do not want to do anything wrong. Does anyone know what do to in such situations? I would appreciate your replies.
