Default Anybody working in the IT Dept at UC Berkeley or Harvard?

I am looking to transfer to a H1B Cap exempt category from L1 and know of couple of positions that suit my experience. One is at UC Berkeley and the other is at Harvard University. Is there anyone here who works there and who can forward my resume to the right person at these universities? I have applied online but I havent heard anything back.

Any help in this regard will be very highly appreciated.

Thanks
Ganesh

Harvard is in REAL trouble right now and is in lay-off mode. It is forced to scrap
it science and technology expansion. In recent years Harvard Endowment fund had been running like
a hedge fund, almost like gambling and is blowing up with margin calls.

Just search in Google News "Harvard Endowment" and you will see the problems at Harvard

I think the H1B Cap exempt category also includes non profits so why dont you try other non-profits in your area (of course the non profits dont consider relocation candidates) other than these 2 universities.

Hiring at universities take a long time because of the involvement of multiple entities. When you are at it you might look at some of the lower profile ones. Also there are generally quite a few applicants as there are quite a few people who look for more stable albeit lower paying positions.
