Is there a chance to get F-1 in Ukraine for me?
I came to US in June 2010 on J-1 visa which expired Sept 07, I applied for extension of stay and got status B-2 till March 7th 2011. In February I applied for one more extension of stay as I wanted to apply to a graduate school. In April I got a denial of extension. In May i applied for case reopen and reconsideration. But I got a denial a few days ago.
Right now I have all the documents from my school needed to get F-1. My school starts in January 2012.
Does anybody know if I go back to my country (Ukraine) and apply for F-1 there will these denial influence a consul's decision? How big are my chances to get visa?
I will be looking forward to hearing from you!
Thank you all in advance!
