You are currently on H4 and will continue to remain on H4 till the date your H4 is valid / till a change of status to another visa is approved.
If the change of status to F1 was approved and if you travel outside US, you would have had to plan about stamping. But for now you are legally on H4 and can continue studying on H4. Talking to the international affairs at your school may keep your mind at ease ![]() Wishing you good luck, |

Hi Mitr,
I am about to apply for change of status from H1 to F1 and need to know the chances of denial. I have an I-140 approved and wondering if that was the reason for denial? If you know the reason, could you please share the reason for your F1 COS denial? Thanks Tahsin |
