Currently on H4 and H1B visa is pending traveling to India

I am currently on H4 visa and have applied for H1B visa in Apr 2012 and my H1B application is still pending. My question is can I go to India right now for a month i.e. in July 2012 before my H1B is approved ? or If It gets approved while I am in India ? Will there be any issues in this case?

Please correct me if I my understanding is wrong i.e. if I travel outside of US, while my H1B application is still not approved there might be some complications. As for my H1B application I have given my current I-94 form and if I go out and come back in US during my H1B application is still pending or approved (while I am in India), in this case H1B application will have different I-94 form than my newly issued I-94 form in my passport, because at the port of entry I will be issued a new I-94 form.
