Default H1-B transfer within first 30 days of entering US without pay-stubs

Hi

I have entered US a week back and applied for my H1-B through a consulting company A. The consulting company A is not helping me with any placements and not providing me with the paystubs as well.

Meanwhile I have got job offer from company B as a full time employee.

1. I want to know can I transfer my H1-B to company B without any legal hassles?
2. Whats the probability of my transfer getting approved?
3. When can I start working with Company B?

Since I am transfering my H1-B within 1st month of my arrival, is there a possibility of denial?

You might have a problem changing employers if you cannot prove that you maintained status with Co. A. If you never worked for Co. A, you did not maintain status. However, Co. B can always try to get a change of employer approved.

I would recommend waiting until the H-1B is approved, in case CIS does not approve it as a change of employer

There is always the possibility of a denial. In this case, however, not maintaining status is probably your biggest problem.

It will be risky 100%, dont do until you get at least 6 months pay stubs, these days they are very perticular, one of my friend did without pay slips 3 years back, but now things are changed at USCIS.....
