Exclamation Can i apply for an f1 visa wile i'm appling for the green card lottery

I want to study in the u.s and then get back to my country, but is it possible to apply for the green card lottery, so that it can be allot easier for me to have a part time job during my study , but in the same time i want to apply for an f1 visa in case if i didn't get lucky with the DV lottery. will this cause any problem? .

You may apply for the Green Card lottery, however you may have a difficulty at your visa interview when they ask you your intention after graduation and if you have ever made an attempt to apply for residency. It may be grounds to deny your visa.

My advise would be to get your F1, and when you arrive, you can request to get working permit to work on campus. I don't' remember what it is called but that is what I used to work on campus. i cited that I have most of the funds but was short on spending expense so I had to work. I didn't have a problem working on campus the entire time I was studying.

Good luck.
