Default H1B Visa - 221-g Additional Administrative Processing Case
Hi

I attended h1b visa interview in chennai consulate this week.
they gave 221-g blue form to me stating that ur case requires additional administrative processing and the interviewing person said that we will get back to u in another 2 days.

Have anybody went in this situation in their visa stamping.

How much time it will take to compete this process.
Does anybody have idea regarding this type of response from the us consulate

Default same situation
One of my friends was also handed the 221-g in Chennai requesting an email be sent which includes company goals,role and position in the company. Any advise on the format or response is welcome. Thanks for your help in advance..

Default stuck in india with 221 g
I recently completed my MS degree with great effort spending 3 years time and lots of money. I found one good employer and filed my H1 B. I went to India for a visit . When i went for stamping got a 221 g from delhi embassy. I have been waiting from 4 months. I still did not get any reply from embassy. Embassy people don't understand the consequences of delays .

Default got the mail from consulate after 10 months
I got the mail from consulate after 10 months of my visa interview to submit passport

Interview Date:20th December 2011
Response Date:5 th october 2012
Passport Submission:10th october 2012


All the people who struck on 221(g) can expect how this process is.
So all the best to all the folks who struck on this mysterious process

I will post in the forum after i get visa
