H1B transfer: travel - Timing

Facts:
Currently employed and on first portion of H1b with Company A, I-797 valid to 1/2011. Have a valid stamp on passport.
Have an offer from Company B to start in 1/2010. Have plans(purchased ticket!) to travel outside US 12/16/09~1/7/10. Will give 2 weeks' notice to Company A during this time, sometime in January 2010 so that I am still 'employed' by Company A until I come back to US. H1B transfer(to Company B) should be submitted/filed with USCIS right before my departure in mid December.

Do you see any problems with this scenario?
