Actually its the senate that is the trouble maker now. Thankfully Congress is under GOP control.

By Congress I mean house of rep. + Senate. They are beating us 'gillis' for more than a decade now.

Yes....sometimes I wonder what is a capitulation point/throw in the towel...Indians and Chinese have very high thresthold. People from many other countries would have given up on GC long back.

Dont worry buddy....like I have always talked about a theoretical wait time of around 20-23 years when US born children can sponsor parents for GCs when they are 21. So it might be possible you might get GC eventually.

Yes possible, but in most cases the preference is to marry someone from India. Had that not been the case, lot of problems would not have existed. Most indians actually come to US at early age and single unlike what I have seen among students from other countries. The case is for the marriage based GC. Somewhere down the line the choices and decisions got them all to this forum !!!!

Oh yes...always welcome...one opting for family based means one less quota needed for skilled based.
