Hi All,

I got EAD but I am still working with my employer who filed my GC. I want to open LCC to get start small business. But I have heard that if I open LLC on my name then there will be some risk on my GC and also I could not work for that LLC.

1. Can I open LLC on my wife's name who also have EAD?
2. If I open LLC on my wife's name then will I transfer my H1 status to EAD?

Please advice..

you can open an LLC on your wife's name. But you cannot transfer your H1 to that LLC as you are related, and her GC has not been approved yet. and the LLC should also have a bonafide job.

Still have some doubts...

If we open LLC on my wife's name then her 'immigration status' automatically convert from H4 to EAD and same with me H1 to EAD? I want secure my GC process here.

What is meaning of bonafide job? How it will impact on LLC and GC process?
