I would request the anonymuous users to come forward and become the proud donors and raise the voice and get heard TOGETHER. Let the antis and everyone else who take us for granted, know we are not single and we take sh** no more.

Friends I would suggest to educate your friends and colleagues who do not know about IV and make them the donors. Noone being a donor is loosing anything, you pay the taxes which goes where?? GOD KNOWS!!... here you donate and you know every penny is at work for you.

So one way or the other you have to pay , but paying the latter way makes sure your $$$ are working for you.

With these stats can you say we have the strength to fight this uphill battle ? Do you think you have done enough to get a solution to our cause? Do you think just by sitting and doing nothing we will get you out of this mess?

The answer to all these questions is "NO". No we won't get out of this mess unless everyone come forward to volunteer and contribute and strengthen this whole group.

25X6 = $150 in 6 months which even you get back as a tax rebate.
Just think of the difference your little contribution to IV can make in your life and in everybody else's life.
Just think every year we spend $600 for advance parole and every 2 years similar for EAD. Contributing $25/Month is still way way cheaper to get a solution and savings because of the solution( also the hassle which is not even figurative here). I know nothing is gauranteed in this world so is the solution for these issue by making donation, but the same stands for the your Green card applicaiton as well. Its not gauranteed. But yes more you have to wait for it , more the problem you may have to face, associated with it.

I will donate if IV takes up the "quartely spill-over" issue.

I have donated to IV and IV state chapter several times in the past. I have met my congrssman (or staff) 4 times. I have met 13 other congressmen in Washington D.C. to advocate IV issues. The list can continue but I have decided to be stubborn this time.

I will donate to IV only if IV DOES NOT work on quarterly spillover rule. I have decided to be stubborn this time

Quarterly spillover only helps EB2 India people whose priority dates are near the visa cutoff dates. IV should not waste money on bunch of these people but should worry about EB3 India people who are stuck. Quarterly spillover does not help EB3 India. EB3 backlog is huge and EB2 India people will get their greencards many years before EB3 India.

I anwered NO to the survey. If there was one more choice: May be, I would have probably picked that. Here is the reasoning for the "May be" part:

I am frequent visitor to IV and have great respect for what IV does for our (and MY) cause, but some questions always linger in my mind about the money part.

Firstly, is money the ONLY WAY to contribute to IV?

I hope the answer is NO to this, because if some says YES, I will lose my good impression about IV and may never return to this forum.

Secondly, how exactly does IV use the donor money to resolve (or alleviate) our problems? Do you all pay to the lobbyists or what? this question might sound too premature, but I hope some one can answer that.

Being myself is similar situations, I do understand that it is quite easy to question and it can be equally or more tougher to answer such questions, but just want to put my thoughts down in the hopes that some one might be able to answer. As I mentioned, I would contribute myself if I have clear answers.

you know this very well and I know it very well that is an excuse and not justify anyone else but yourself on why are you not donating..

Is donation is the only way.... NO not all ...but donation is the most easy way to have the limited involvement and contribute as well. You can do a lot of different things apart from the donation like meeting the lawmakers, getting more members and ask them contribute one way or the other. But if you feel this is a lot to do , I would humbly request you to donate and help.
Once verified as a donor (which is required to keep the antis away) who are not volunteers like us but are paid employee and there only job is to distract our efforts and inifiltrate here and get the information out from here,
Once verified and registered as donor,you can have more visibility to all the efforts of IV and understand the working better.

Nothing comes free in the world , so is the solution to the issue we all are facing. You can see the ads of the antis on primetime on CNN and lots and lots ads in news paper and other places. Why is that IV cannot do it, MONEY.. we have a lot of members, whose only tciket to be out of this mess is "IMMIGRATION VOICE" but at the same time they don't want to donate and also do not even hesitate to question the efforts of IV as if they have hired them to do this job.

Everyone is an adult here and I cannot make up or brainwash anyone here. If you think donation is right thing please do it ... rest is up to you.
