No wonder they can do this , after loosing the case 2 times in the lower courts now they are taking the case to supreme court. Well they got the money , lawyers and dedicated paid employees to work on it fulltime, they can do all they want. Advertise on CNN and get a complete page ad on WSJ. But we have got guys who are sitting on the margins waiting for their Labor to approve to start making the donation. Well you may not last that long here in US to make the donation my friend in this case.
Also guys don't think antis have got problem with only H1B, no, they hate everyone. Don't think you got EAD so you are safe. They are going to target everyone. They are racist and hate anyone who is Indian.

They don't have the volume like us , but what to do with this huge useless volume who are good for nothing. Our members starve to death by donating a fews bucks, loves to question who tries to do anything good and most of all always keen to get there issues to be taken care off at the first place. this is a loosing battle with these type of members in the community.
Every group has started drumming up for the CIR.. its high time guys get together and shell out money from your pockets and donate IV, otherwise you will keep regretting for not doing this.

No I am not Indian, but that still makes me a H1B and greencard aplicant. So please, Antis might dislike us but that does not make them racist and hatefull against only Indians, you are not the only ones in the boat...dont make Indians the only important people here.

Plus a lot of the antis are probably people who lost a job and are finding someone to point the finger at, not right, but understandable.
I have Amercian friends who went from a good middleclass family to now being on foodstamps and not knowing how to feed their kids the next day, they dont hate me but they are upset and frustrated and scared...
Fear drives people to find a black sheep but let us not jump in there too and start hating...

Sorry but I read many many messages on forums before I finally loose my patience with the Indians only messages...lets try to not segregate but work together.

The OP poster was not scorning against the average american, I think you are mixing two issues up, I am sure he has done his share of charity work, and he probably sympathizes with families who don't have a job, I don't think you can direct your anger against him.

This is a capitalistic society not a communist or a socialist society, the market will/should balance itself out, new industries come up, people get hired, if the attitude of the people is protectionist, which it is, it stifles innovation and growth, which in turns stifles the growth of new companies, which in turn would have helped the folks laid off get a job. Being emotional is OK, but one must be pragmatic. That said, i believe charity begins at home, one must take care of its own kith and kin before extending arms to others.

Really all I was trying to say is by talking the way he did above we dont make things better we just make it worse.

,...they are not seeing it as that, they are just doing what you said putting themselves first and forgetting about the fact that a lot of us have been here for a long time built lifes had kids and that it is hardly fair to send us "home" now. Or about that some of us would open companies. Someone in need for food for their family does not think clearly they are emotional and scared!
Talk to them and about them with compassion and you might just turn the way they think. I have done so many times.

I am not saying what they do is right, but what you 2 said here isnt the way to go either in my opinion, you can go ahead and crucify me for it, thats fine. But I rather say what I think than sit there and be silent.

And in the end my message was mostly about the "it s all always against Indians" theme that seems to be so prominent lately....Do you really think you are the only ones and the rest of us doesnt count....well thanks for that.

Wenn Sie ein Kaukasier sind, stehen Sie nicht heraus. Sie müssen eine Person der Farbe, aus einem Ausland sein, zu verstehen warum Leute Sprechen sind, was sie sind.
