Decision Time - Canada or NZ

We don't want to waste our golden years of life waiting for law to change, so we can get EAD or GC to start business here in USA.

I have very good business idea where there is huge potential to make it big. My 6th year H1 expires in Feb 2011. PERM recruitment is going on, but my heart is leaning towards starting the business.

So, we decided to take Entrepreneur Federal Immigration to Canada. We are not yet ready to move to India. My case certainly needs consultation (most likely processing) from Immigration Attorney for Canada.

I was looking at Canadavisa.com, but looking for more options. Can anyone recommend other attorneys?

My business idea doesn't require $500,000 investment to target investor visa in USA.

I was thinking NZ Long Term Business Visa, but first I would like to explore Canada and then consider NZ.

What about any countries in Europe. Are they any good ?

I think it is the right choice as the immigration laws have not been changing here in US.
Starting business while applying for others countries is very innovative...I like the idea.

I am also thinking of leaving USA in 2014. I am thinking NZ. US immigration is good for illegals and not for legals. God bless America.

50 year old man, suffering from diabetes, High BP with no health insurance, been on H-1B for 13 years so scared of stamping that he wouldn't visit his mother during her last days, threatening to leave US while he just filed an extension for 3 more years of H-1B. Seriously???? New Zealand???

wow.. you know me now. Yes I couldn't leave this country because of property and family. Mother had a wish to see me. I am really sorry for not paying her last respect. God will not forgive me.

depends on what yr business idea is. Canada has the advantage that it's right on US's doorstep.... still the biggest market in the world. If your idea is related to services or products, Canada is where it's at.

New Zealand is a country with 3 mill ppl and 50 mill sheep. So if yr business its idea is making sweaters for sheep, New Zealand is the place to go.

On the flip side canada is really cold. New Zealand has really nice weather, and they play cricket.

if above story is true, its really sad. Dude, India is not really bad, companies pay 40-50% of USA salary. India is sure better than NZ with 3m population.

Yes Canada is better than NZ. IT job market not that bad in Canada. Also due to totalization agreement , you get entitled to US Social Security.
