Finally..
Guys
I got my green card finally today after 5 yrs and 2 months since filing the labor. Was current from July 2011 onwards but for some reason the file was not picked up for a long time. Hope everyone else who have priority date in 2006 and still waiting will get them soon.

Finally, my turn has arrived... just got those magical emails.
 I think I still need time for this to sink in... it's been a heck of a ride. Good luck to anyone else still waiting (are there any?)! Just hang on... pal

...huge thanks to IV. Without this wonderful community and their (our) extra ordinary effects my miserable wait would have been impossible to bear.
I'm sure to stick around to help others with the knowledge I acquired during my long ride with USCIS (this happens to be my 10th year in the US), if nothing else, I can offer some moral support to folks who are desperate

Got Interview
After a long wait I got the interview letter from USCIS for Apr 18th. I have been expecting this as my wife was called for an interview on Jan 25th and the office told me I would be called for an interview as well. I'm still not sure why they would call me for an interview, but I'm more happy than nervous :-) I'm one of the few ppl with PD in 2006 and application stuck without any action.
