this will help us identify who is already contributing, and who is will be the potential candidate. We can even personally write to each individual and get them on board to sign up for recurring contribution.

Those who do not wish to sign up, always has an option to pay once a month or quarterly. As janilsal mentioned, if IV provides $25, most people will sign up only for this, including me . In case, we decide to put $25/month, we need to device a good recurring monthly sign up campaign.

Is there a way for IV to setup a bank account where incoming wire transfers are free? For eg National City does not charge either for wiring in or out to other National City accounts. So there's no transaction charge either way. And people could donate any $ they want.

This is slightly out of topic, I was thinking should we make an IV calendar for the next year and sell it to our members. In this case we will have two advantages, firstly we will generate some income for IV and secondly, these calendar will be hung in members house or offices where people would see and ask questions about IV and IV will get more members. If we give this calendar to indian stores and restaurants, we can expect more people having a look at it. Somehow i feel its better than distributing IV flyers.
