PLease do not post multiple messages on IV forums to bump threads that are already at the top. As explained earlier your initiative is best used if you post n other forums to raise awareness. This is very true and the best update than any other website. Others do not waste time and copy paste irrelevant information that is not even any update. It simply does what that update was intended for --- increase publicity and business because some users will copy paste.

Guys please be patient and wait for instructions. Follow action Items. Contribute of yu have not done so this month. A lot of advocacy work is happening and every penny counts so that we can reach more offices and do better quality advocacy work.

That may indicate only New subscriptions of month. I am also doing monthly contribution.

that bar shows only new monthly contributors. There are old donors that do not count in that. So for that bar to move, we need more new contributors. So people step up, and open your money bag as well.

And pls don't reveal details of the bill, even its progress on the open forum. There are people who don't do anything for the cause but just want updates. Your posting of tids and bits only salivates their appetites. It does nothing to advance our cause, but can sabotage our efforts. We don't also want to promote the lawyers websites by reposting their blogs/articles. They have ulterior motives for this bill not to pass although they want to portray themselves as being on the forefront of this effort.

I would advise that we listen only to IV core, and follow their instructions. Remember they are advised by experienced paid people.

But are new recurring donors being given access to the Donor forum at all? The last I remember was that was stopped in the wake of HR 3012.

You are right. donor access has been halted just for this period. However, I would strongly suggest that if information reg 3012 is primarily what you are anxious about then donor forums might not have anything more than what pappu/others periodically update us. I am not staying in an ilusion that behind the donor forum wall lies all details about all activities that IV is currently engaging in. Even if it were true, I dont think I will get any peace by being aware of all the activities.

I'm pissed off because I signed up for donor access before 3012. Not to mention that I have met the congressmen's staff with other donors and old members..still no access.

I agree and I don't really care about donor forums. Any periodic updates posted here are just fine, as long as progress is being made. The way things are and the pace they move at, the less info you have, the more you will be at peace!

Yes. agree. At this moment less info and no news is good news. Just need to wait for Senate to take up for vote.
