Got a response from SVP HR, our company is a Technet member, they have already signed the petition.

Guys please contact your company officials, really easy, they may already be members and have signed it, or they are waiting to, you reaching out to them will remind them to do so. There is nothing to be worried about, but there is so much to lose if you haven't reached out. so do so and please post in this thread.

Previous posts indicate that it is important to communicate with the company even if they are on board to show that the employee is also interested and supports their decision to join the effort.

Seriously, if you think about it, what could my few hundred dollars be able to achieve? Can I stir the congress? Can I get legislation through congress? Frankly, if anything its a pipe dream. And if at all we are able to reach 40 then for next 10 contributions from 41 to 50, I will contribute $10 per contribution.

I throw this challenge out to you guys. Let the chivalrous in you come out; show that you care. I leave it up to you to not let me down. It will be the best $300 I ever spent. Cynics might still say- oh its just small money still. Please try and understand the motivation behind coming up with something like this.

Kudos to all the IV members (mentioned in the list below) who have contributed in last two days or so. As promised I have made a $300 (50x6) contribution. Again thank you !!

I still believe that this may not be enough and we need to keep chipping in to support all IV efforts and time was never ripe than ripe. Afterall its our fight and we need to fight it out.
