Way to go BerkeleyBee. Our name recognition amongst the immigration community is definitely going to increase with this. The next time we approach administration officials in USCIS or DOL, this kind of name recognition would be very helpful.

All, even though much of our attention is currently on the legislation, do remember that all the increase in numbers would only increase the back log at USCIS. Immigration Voice will still need to work to make sure that the processing at USCIS and BECs also happens quickly.

I agree with this statement. My concern is - if our provisions pass along with the 'undocumented workers' provisions, the overall work-load that it will create on the USCIS will be huge. I hope that the architects of this bill have thought over this issue and come up with a plan to execute this MEGA-bill.

On a humorous note: IV Core group may be approached by the USCIS to help them plan and streamline their immigration process, since they know now that 'IV never sleeps'

You have no idea how true this is.

And then we have these killer early AM conference calls that are set on EST, us PST folks are just destroyed by them.
