How to withdraw the I-485 Application?

For whatever reasons, is it possible to withdraw the I-485 application? I got my receipt. Have not yet received the Fingerprints notice.

What is the simplest way to withdraw, and what is the impact of this on my future I-485 application?

Why you want to withdraw?
Please elaborate.
You can withdraw any application , which you have filed with government agencies.

I am interviewing for job in India, and if I get it I might want to go. So for now I may want to leave the 485. Nothing is sure at the moment, but just want to know.

Just wait until you the Advance Parole and go.you can stay for 1 year outside USA if you need to. so many people are struggling to come here and you want to abandon I-485.anyways, thats upto your situation. But just know that you dont have to withdraw now to take up a job in india.You have a year to decide.and even after getting GC you can take a reentry permit and stay out of USA for 2 years.

I am not sure that is correct...Again I may be wrong ..but if he takes up a job in India..is'nt he abandoning his current I-485 application ??? Also can he stay outside for 1year on EAD / AP ???

Can anyone share more info about this ??

because i did not formally engage him as my attorney. He once filed my H1 and i still have his email.He usually responds to my questions.

You can write a letter to USCIS asking them to withdraw your application or just simply go away where ever you want to... Who knows they might close your application or they might even don't have time to look into your withdraw application. So instead they might approve your application... God knows what the hell going on these days in their minds...Don't worry too much about it... with USCIS anything could happen...If somebody at USCIS comes up with some crazy idea that he got in the dream, they will definitely implement it...
