Default EB3 INDIA with PD before October 2001. Gather here

Calling all EB3 INDIA applicants with a PD before October 1, 2001.

Friends we have been current since November 1st of this year. Many of us still have not heard anything about our cases. If you have this PD you have already been waiting over 7 yrs. What should we do to get USCIS's attention to look at our cases. It seems service requests are useless. They send the same old letter to everyone and thesere is no action. Whats our best options. Lets gather and look at ideas on what we can do. We know USCIS is so random.

Friends this is very imp for us. We have already suffered the most and are the most behind in dates compared to any other Category and country. We waited in pain and silence for years for our PD to become current. Now it finally is but still we see no action. Guys speak up lets try to do all we can. In this economy last thing we need is a waste of our 7 yrs of waiting and our files falling through some crack because of a random USCIS process.

Any thoughts, ideas ? whats worked for others and whats not. Will we get our green cards while we are still alive ????????

Let us see how many IV folks are in this boat. It is really unfortunate that you guys have had to wait. I think there are others who may have applied later in EB3 and due to different state labor, they got their GC in a couple of years. Now they maybe preparing for citizenship while you are still waiting for greencard. The labor backlogs have created this situation.

Good start. Let us see how many are still waiting with older 2001 October dates.
My date is 2001 December. It is so frustrating to look at each bulletin and get disappointed.

Default The categories

seem to be like the three classes in railways in Asia. First (EB1), Second (EB2) and Third (EB3). So unfortunate.

Default Maybe folks who are current for

a couple of months can call the customer service to at least get someone look at their files.

Demand for visas exceeds the supply.

Customer Service creates a service request and send just standard off the shelf letter saying wait we are processing your case. The letters used to say 3 months but now sayd 6 months.

I think a lot of ppl in this forum are under the misunderstanding that once their date becomes current they will get Green Card soon. That is reaslly not true and once your date becomes current its just another battle all over again.

Some ides that I have heard work are

1) Calling congressman/senator and asking them to help your case.

2) Writing to Ombudsman.

Since no one in America does much of anything in December I am planning to start trying with congressmans office in mid Jan. I have to do something and try - I cant keep sitting hands folded. Or they will say quota is over before we know it - remember ROW is at 2005.

When can we expect.

Common Seniors pour in your thoughts and let your thougts be a strong prayer for us.

Waiting, Waiting.

Market is bad in India too...so we are stuck.
