There was also some novelty in the concept. We cannot expect to repeat it and get same results. Sending pizza will make a mockery of the Gandhi protest in my opinion. You can choose to differ.

Thanks for you comments and the like, we really appreciate and it feels good and gives strength to see comments from adminstrators.

It really started with a pizza idea by me, but we have it much refined now. We are tilting towards a food drive (may still have just pizza from a known chain) where we can help one or more shelter homes and at the same time gain our publicity where needed. We will project our problems as inability to buy houses or start companies, and that a small administrative fix is stopping us from getting the final step. EAD/485 is like almost GC and we will project as if we got it, but we need this relief. For this they must act. Else we will not buy houses even if they come for 1/5th.
We must project ourselves as part of solutions to the high priority problems, and not to push for BIG immigration reforms at THIS time. One step at a time. Many of these reps don't even know what the real problem is and how simple the solution is. If they realize facts, they will do it easily. They loose nothing, but only to gain.

I am looking at massive tab $13500+Other expenses we are looking at atleast 15K,better spent on lobbying than pizzas for already overweight Senators.

Instead of spending $13k on pizza you can help contribute to collect the $5000 so USCIS can run that special query to tell us what they have in their warehouse ( our I485 application) and how much and since when. But only if we can define "priority date" and agree to pay $5000 with a $2500 check. I don't know how USCIS and DOS were coming up with the visa cutoff dates for atleast a decade, Maybe we have to pay for another FOIA request with DOS to get their formula for the cutoff dates. So save you money for that.

Pizza indeed is a very good idea, and in a food drive.
Fully agree with you as there is no action. This is what I was raising so many times. I am very busy last 10 days couldnt even post anything. I feel there must be some action.
Many felt in the past and I too, that IV core has their dates current. So they keep quite and gather momentum, but once their dates are unavailable, they come up as if they are with us, and then use us to push for changes. Their attitude is clearly proved in the contributions they are getting. I will post in the other thread later regarding contributions. In about 10 days or so, it looks like they collected $100 or $200. Where will the campaign go with this kind of contributions. Nowhere.. But they know what they are doing.
I wanted to do contribtion big way but they failed to show any action plan.
But dont go away. But if you are decided, or otherwise.. do you know any other forums or yahoogroups who actively voice our concerns.
