I'm thinking more long term here guys...
I have a better chance of my son turning 18 (or is it 21?) and sponsoring me as a dependant than me getting a GC myself. Honestly I have already planned for it mentally - so these visa bulletins stopped getting me down years ago.. and if i were an EB3 candidate like me with a 2004 PD or later, I would reccomend this strategy. Dont live for the Bulletin !
I manged to change jobs at will, bought 2 houses, became a landlord, bought my dream car, went on vacation abroad (yes the visa applications are an administrative burden, but it really isnt a big deal at all once you know you cant go anywhere spontaneously) and living the American Dream as a Resident Alien  with status as "AOS". Honestly what kind of status is that anyway?Visa bulletins for me are like comic strips that show up on a newspaper. Makes me smile once a month, because i just wasted 5 more minutes of my life looking at the same information printed last month.

Well made statements, I am in the same mindset. I am sure you forgot to add that, we are still in the same boat and make unified voice for the immigration reforms....
