If they get sued and have to reply to Zoe Lofgren's letter the next bulletin may just have an "FU" for all categories

Wink One solution

might be NOT to re-re-revise the July bulletin. Aug bulletin could be made current for all categories and all the July filers will be accepted.

The question then becomes.. will USCIS accept AOS applications if your PD is FU? If they do, we are home free.

Default That's what everyone wants...

Ability to apply for I-485 AOS after I-140 petition approved, irrespective of visa numbers and bulletins. Allow interim benefits -
1) AC21 to change jobs after 180 days if one wishes
2) EAD for applicant and dependents, allow the significant other to work in the profession of his/her choice
3) AP to end the endless visa renewal nightmares

What's the point in giving a bulletin that's of no use!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

with a 200-300% hike in filing fees of course. Why don't we just write the checks for the difference right now and get this thing over with and move on?

People waiting for the August bulletin, please relax, it is now "U" till Oct 2007.

Can we EVER trust the VB now? Its pretty much military rule now as far as USCIS is concerned. Like the old British raj, "Na Vakil, Na Dalil, Na appeal" (meaning no lawyer, no proceedings, no appeals if you were arrested). Pretty much like the TADA in India (minus the getting arrested and sitting in jail part)

I am sure this is going to happen within this week or next week.

1. They are going to take the revised visa bulletin and flip flop out from the website.
2. They will accept application as Visa Bulletin said on Jun 9th.
3. Because of this mess, they are going to give grace period till Aug 2007 for filing.

And in addition they will say that they will keep it in the backlog and when Visa number gets available they will process.

Looking at the pressure mounted on USCIS, don't be surprised if we get a visa bulletin with 'C' for all categories.
