Hi,

My I140 was applied through Premium processing in March 2nd week.
Last week the status showed as approved.

Now it showed "Case was shipped to the Department of State for visa processing"

Did any of you saw this before? What does this mean?

Did you apply for consular processing?

I am an I485 applicant and got something similar to what you got for your I140. It just means that your application has been transferred to the appropriate service center for processing. The whole language about department of state is a typo. Refer to www.immigration-law.com for an update about weird language in I485 applications which got transfered recently.
