Default Perm Processing Recruitment Process Rejection Reasons

Guys,
I have initiated my PERM process through my company and at the end of the Recruitment Process my company has received application out of which couple of resumes qualify for the position.

My manager is scheduled to interview these guys and was wondering what would be reasons my manager can have these canditates rejected. Since they qualify by means of SKILL set what wold be other lawful rejection reasons that these candidates could be rejected.

Any help/suggestions in this regard is greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

Guys,
There is no way I can influence the recruitment process in my company. I did not even know the Job Description/Details until it was posted on the Intranet.

I was trying get some help where I stand in the process and if my manager has any legal reasons to reject a candidate. Knowing this would help me out planning for future course.

Thanks.

Let the process take its own course. You should not even be thinking in these lines. Interfering in the recruitment process may get your company itself in trouble. Your manager/HR would not do it at the cost of their jobs.

You are better off searching for some other job as a backup plan. If interviews happen and none of the candidates take the offer on their own, then you can be certain that your PERM petition goes through.

recruitment process is done for PERM to see if there is any qualified applicant is out there.
If you managers founds that an applicant is qualified, it only means that "search to find a individual who could do your job is success". So the GC process cannot be continued ..!!!! This recruitment has got nothing to do with your job.
